See You Again...
Hi readers, every good thing must come to an end...
Yes, another term has come to an end. I can’t believe how fast it went by. It felt more like 5 weeks rather than 15. Perhaps that’s because I barely had time to catch my breath.
This term, my schoolwork was more intense than ever. I had assignments from every course every week, and I couldn’t spare any time for myself. Because of this, my days started blending into each other, and when I look back, yes, 15 weeks felt like 5. 😊
I think the hardest part of the course was the frequent assignments. If they had been individual assignments, I wouldn’t have felt so overwhelmed, but it was really challenging to coordinate for group assignments. Everyone has their own schedule, and finding a common time to come together was often difficult.
Despite all these challenges, the flipped classroom assignment was my favorite because we created an amazing video, and it was so much fun. For example, I will definitely use that video in one of my future lessons.
But without giving up or leaving anything unfinished, I successfully completed this term. For that, I first want to congratulate myself. I did a great job. If you’ve followed this blog week by week during this process, then congratulations to you too.
As always, this course has nurtured my technological side. I created many materials and lessons using tools I had never used before. I changed my perspective and enhanced my creativity. If I’ve been able to contribute something to you as well, that makes me very happy.
This space has become a sort of portfolio for me—a memory book and a guide I can look back on when I step into teaching. I’d like to thank my instructor, Gökçe Kurt, for giving us this opportunity. I hope to see you in the new term.
