Let's Go to Brazil!

 Hello dear readers😋,

I am back with a brand-new post.

So, what's the topic this week? Creating an AR Integrated Teaching Material. Don’t let it scare you, it’s actually quite fun 👻.

So, what is AR? Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience that combines the real world and computer-generated 3D content. It allows you to experience an environment without having to go there physically. You will understand why I gave this example when you see my assignment.

In this assignment, we were asked to create an AR-integrated material. We had two options: one was Exploring a city abroad, and the other was Exploring a global issue. My friends and I chose the first option because we thought it would be more fun (honestly, we were a bit hesitant about the other one . At first, we weren’t quite sure what we were doing, but the intructions and example videos provided by our teacher made our job a lot easier. But, if we hadn’t spent so much time on the design, we could have finished the assignment earlier that's for sure 😂.

We chose Rio de Janeiro as the city (as you can guess) because we realized during the decision-making stage that both my groupmates and I really wanted to visit Brazil and see the Rio Carnaval. So, we chose Rio to learn from this process. Then, we researched 360-degree videos, museums and city tours online. We found some really good resources.

In the end, we prepared a worksheet where we integrated these videos. I think it turned out really well. Let’s see what you think."
